The garden in the city heights neighborhood was created by the immigrant and refugees.
Key goal of the farming is to provide greater access to fresh and healthy food and vegatables.
The Community growing fresh produce and plants, Community encourage understanding and awareness of environment. Sure newest program connects local fruit owners to local food pantry at the IRC and Root works to:
- Promote Small, family farms and local food businesses.
- Encourage events that strengthen the local food circles
- Grow our own food and help others who want to grow their own food.
